Linda Kay Edmonds, age 69

Linda Kay Edmonds, age 69, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026 at her home. She was born on April 10, 1957 to the late Wilmer and Rosemarie Walden Perkey. Linda enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and playing pool. She also enjoyed serving in the Campbell County Honor Guard and the Jellico Honor Guard.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Lonnie Ray Edmonds, and Dustin Edmonds; infant daughter, Patricia Edmonds; brothers, Tommy Perkey and Bobby Perkey; sisters, Patsy Perkey, and Lois Jeffers.

Linda is survived by her husband, Lonnie Edmonds; sisters, Millie Catania of Michigan, and Pamela Durham of Jacksboro; grandchildren, Sarah Vinsant, Brittany Adkins and Dylan Johnson; great grandchildren, Dusty Meadows, Ava Adkins, and Abram Adkins; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 12 PM to 1 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1 PM with Rev. Jerry Foust officiating. Interment to follow at the Melvin Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
