Mayor Lynch releases statement about county’s network disruption

JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- This is a release from Campbell County Mayor Jack Lynch’s office.

We are currently experiencing a network disruption affecting certain systems. Upon becoming aware of the issue, we immediately took steps to respond, including partnering with leading external cybersecurity specialists to assist with the investigation and our recovery efforts. Our team is working diligently to restore normal operations in a safe and secure manner.
 
The investigation remains ongoing, and we are unable to provide additional information at this time. Our priorities remain restoring our systems and protecting our residents, staff, and the community. We will continue to take all appropriate actions and respond in accordance with applicable legal requirements as our investigation progresses.
