Barbara Carol Aldridge, aged 70 of Jacksboro

Barbara Carol Aldridge, aged 70 of Jacksboro passed away July 23, 2026.

Preceded in death by parents Frank and Joan Eggers Aldridge, brother Gary Aldridge, and several aunts and uncles. She faithfully attended both Jacksboro First Baptist Church and Woodlake Baptist Church in Jacksboro. She was known as “The Donut Lady” and her greatest enjoyment was the Pickle Ball Group and her Sister Bible Study Group at FBCJ. Barbara was known in church and her neighborhood as having a true servant’s heart. She worked for many years at the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, Caryville Stone, and Campbell County Fire Equipment Service.

Uncles; Gurney and Elaine Eggers and Charlie and Martha Eggers.

Niece and family: Chesni Bolton and husband Brian,

Briana and Taylor McCarty (Landrie Mae),

Jared and Shy Cochran (Aryana and Ryle), and

Jaelin Bolton

Nephew and family: Justin Aldridge and wife Carrie and

Zane

Sister-in-law: Carolyn Aldridge

Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Monday July 27, 2026 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for 2:30 PM Graveside Service and Interment. Rev George Asbury Officiating.
