Meth, brass knuckles and cash recovered from traffic stop
LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- There was an encounter between La Follette Police Officers and Samantha Rogers, also known as Gucci, during a drug arrest on Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of Campbell Tobacco & Beer at 1200 Jacksboro Pike. As a result, La Follette Police Narcotic Detective Noah Riggs wrote an outstanding warrant on Rogers Wednesday morning for conspiracy possession with intent to deliver or sell involving trafficking of approximately 69 grams of suspected Methamphetamine. By Wednesday evening, Rogers was in the Campbell County Jail.

Around sunset Wednesday, Officer Riggs saw Rogers, behind the wheel of a blue 2004 Honda Pilot, heading toward Jacksboro on the the four lane. On the Skyway Bridge near Campbell High is where Officer Riggs made a traffic stop on the Honda.
Aside from the Wednesday morning arrest warrant, it was discovered that Rogers had two other outstanding warrants for her arrest. Found during the inventory of the vehicle was a notebook with handwritten letters and several baggies with letters written on them, similar to baggies recovered during a Tuesday afternoon arrest where Rogers was present, according to the report from La Follette Police. Inside these baggies was suspected Meth or go, street slang for Meth.
Elsewhere during the search of Rogers SUV, a set of gold colored brass knuckles and a zip wallet containing $751 in cash were found in Rogers purse. The cash is believed to be profits from drug sales.
Rogers, 35, of 207 Eagle Bluff Road-Jacksboro, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal conspiracy and violation of probation. Rogers remains housed this morning in the county jail without bond and awaits a March 11 court date.(WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-02/28/2025-6AM)
