Okla “Marie” Webster, age 65 of Corbin

Okla “Marie” Webster, age 65 of Corbin, KY, passed away on the 5 year anniversary of her mother passing on Friday, August 21, 2026. She was born on March 13, 1961. She really enjoyed working with the Clearfork Community Institute as its Director. She was involved with planning and setting up events and even had a women’s group who met there. Marie cared a lot about women’s rights and women’s independence. She also strongly advocated to save the mountains of East Tennessee. She was very empathetic and forgiving. Marie was a strong woman who was loved by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death: mother, Brenda Marie Partin; father, Morris J. Webster; step-father, Doyle Ray Partin; brothers, Bobby Webster, Kevin Partin, Byrd Webster; and sister, Laura Jean Taylor; sister-in-law, Becca Webster; nephews, Timothy Webster and Josh Webster.

She is survived by: children, Melenia Hatfield, Candace Horn, Michael Horn; grandchildren, Ariana Coffey, Raylan Marlow, and many others who saw her as a role model; siblings, Leonard Webster and wife Sandra, Timothy Webster, and Tammy Partin; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
