Frances “Lorene” Robbins, age 98 of Clinton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 24, 2026. She enjoyed drawing, sewing, and just about any craft you could give her. Lorene was a dedicated witness for the Lord, even talking to people about Jesus during her final stay in the hospital. She was a member of Batley Baptist Church in Clinton. Lorene touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Howard W. Robbins; her mother and step-father, Esther and Hugh Johnson; her father, James Earl Harness, Sr.; her brothers, Charles Edward Harness, and James Earl Harness, Jr.; her sister, Lillian Ruth Sharp; nieces, Ann Orick, Jeane Harmon; and nephew, Jonathan Harness.
She is survived by brother, Leonard Harness; special friends Orgel and Carolyn Lay, and Mark and Leslie Leach; nieces, Susie Wilson, Doris “Cookie” Sharp, Jennifer Ayers; nephew, Rev. Kenny Sharp; and many other family, and friends she loved dearly.
Family and friends wishing to attend her graveside service will meet at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 12 noon and will travel in funeral procession to the Campbell Memorial Gardens for a 1pm graveside service with Rev.
