JHS Alumni Association celebrates its 38th year. Homecoming is Fri., Oct. 11 and Sat., Oct. 12. 

The Jellico High School Alumni Association recently presented scholarships.

JELLICO, TN. (WLAF)- The Jellico High School Alumni Association recently presented scholarships to two deserving Jellico High School Seniors who through their hard work and dedication have rose to the “Top Ten” of the Class of 2024.

The first $1,000 scholarship was presented to Isaac McNealy.  He is the son of Gary and Misty McNealy.  McNealy is one of the JHS Top 10 and a member of the 2023-24 boys’ basketball team that took the Devil’s to the Tennessee State Championship.  He is attending the University of the Cumberlands and will be majoring in physical therapy.  McNealy is currently employed at Maximum Potential in Jellico as a therapy tech under the guidance of Walt Stephens, physical therapist and a member of the JHS Class of 93. 

The second $1,000 scholarship was presented to Aubrey Giles.  She is the daughter of David and Renee Giles.  She is also one of the JHS Top 10 and was a defensive specialist on the 2023-24 girls’ volleyball team. Giles is attending the University of the Cumberlands where she will be majoring in English to become a teacher. 

The Alumni Association will be celebrating its 38th year.  Our homecoming activities will be on Fri., Oct. 11 and Sat., Oct. 12.  The community is invited to the event.
