‘The audits went very well’- Barron Kennedy, Pugh CPAs

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Barron Kennedy with Pugh CPAs out of Knoxville presented “clean” audit findings to LaFollette Utility Board members at Monday evening’s workshop. Utility Board members approved the acceptance of the audit findings at the meeting following the workshop.
According to Kennedy, “the audits went very well.”
You are accustomed for them to go well, and they did so again, we appreciate Jennifer and her team and all their help. We had no disagreements with management, and everything went smoothly,” Barron Kennedy said.
According to the Auditor’s report, LUB was “given a clean opinion.”
“That is what you are striving for with your audit … Everything is in good shape,” Baron Kennedy said.
LaFollette Utility Board members approved the audit as it was presented.
LaFollette Utility Board General Manager Regina Kennedy and LUB chairman John Snodderly commended LUB’s Director of Finance and Accounting Jennifer Hatmaker and her staff on a job well done.
“It’s always nice to hear a clean audit report, Jennifer and her staff are to be commended,” John Snodderly said.
