La Follette man free on bond after traffic stop, arrest

Drugs were found on Carson Pierce, according to La Follette Police

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- While on patrol on Monday afternoon in east La Follette, La Follette Police Detective Noah Riggs made a routine traffic stop.

On South Cumberland Avenue at East Kentucky Avenue is where Det. Riggs pulled over Carson James Pierce. “Dope (drugs) was found on him during the stop,” said Det. Riggs.

Just before 2pm, Carson James Pierce, age 41, of 375 Pleasant Ridge Road, La Follette, was charged with possession of a schedule II drug, methamphetamine, the manufacture, sell, delivery of .5 grams or over, based on the county’s intake press release.

Pierce is free on bond and awaits a June 3 court date. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-05/07/2025-6AM)
