Jennifer Louise Harness

Jennifer Louise Harness born July 31, 1973 lost her hard fought battle with breast cancer early Saturday August 15, 2026 at home surrounded by her family. She lived a long happy life and enjoyed working her crossword books. She was an amid dog and turtle lover, and cant forget her love of snack cakes, ice cream, and sweet tea.

Jennifer is survived by her loving parents Jerry and Nancy McGhee of Clinton.

Daughter Virginia Andrews and Husband Kenneth of Clinton.

Sons Eric Harness of Oliver Springs and Joseph Harness of Clinton.

Brothers Bo McGhee of Oak Ridge, Everett “Andrew” McGhee and wife Kayla of Clinton.

Grandchildren Kenneth “Kendoll” Andrews and Lilly “Lady Bug” Andrews of Clinton.

Niece Marcy “Sweet Pea” Gross of Clinton.

Nephews Mason “Big Leg” McGhee and Elijah ‘Lijah Bug” Barker both of Clinton.

Step Grandfather Riley Smith of Clinton.

Special Friend John “Major” Bork of Halls.

Jennifer is proceeded in death by Grandparents Clara Smith of Clinton, Delbert Reddin of West Virginia, Everett McGhee of Briceville, Lula Mae Copper and husband Bob of Rocky Top.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday August 19, 2026 from 6-7 with the funeral following at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Rocky Top. Pastor David Crowe to officiate.

The family will meet at Circle Cemetery in Briceville on Thursday August 20, 2026 and noon for her burial.
