Faye C. (Morgan) Jones, age 85 of LaFollette

Mrs. Faye C. (Morgan) Jones, age 85 of LaFollette passed away peacefully at home on August 16, 2026. She was born in LaFollette on March 14, 1941. She attended Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. She met her husband here and together they raised six children. Her testimony was the life that she lived as an example of a true Christian, a humble servant for the Lord. Faye sang on many local radio and tv gospel broadcasts for many years. She lived a simple way of life. She knew no strangers. Always a smile and her famous bear hugs. She was not only our Mother, she was a friend and defender. A prayer warrior, strong and true. She is preceded in death by husband, William Bobby Jones, sons, Bobby Jones, Jr. and Alan Conrad “Bill” Jones, parents, Fred and Flora Bell Morgan, sister, Jean White, brothers, Carl Morgan and Frank Morgan.

She is survived by sons, Billy Ray Jones (Cam) of Loveland, OH and William Tracey Jones of LaFollette; daughters, Linda Jones-Kimberlin and Rita Ayers, both of LaFollette; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; Sister, Pauline Morgan of Spring, TX. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 P. M. with Pastor Cotton Pittman officiating. Interment will follow at Davis Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Faye C. (Morgan) Jones.
