Third seed in district tourney is on the line for Cougars

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The Cougars and Lady Cougars made late January wins over Halls look easy. It was a 30 point win for the Lady Cougars, a 28 point difference for the Cougars. That may not be the case tonight, because Campbell has to play Halls at the Devils Den.

The Lady Cougars have the two seed wrapped up for next week’s district tournament. The Cougars being the third seed depends on whether Campbell can get another win over Halls.

Up next for the Orange-and-Blue is a pivotal district contest at Halls. Campbell ventures to Halls on Wednesday with third place in the district on the line for the Cougars. The Lady Cougars will play at 6pm with the second seed already locked down for the district tournament.

WLAF’s coverage begins at 5:45 pm with the Lady Cougars contest, followed by the varsity boys’ action.
