Edward Ridenour, age 101, of LaFollette

Mr. Edward Ridenour of LaFollette, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the age of 101. Mr. Ridenour proudly served his country in the US Air Force for over 30 years. He attended Central Baptist Church in Knoxville and was formerly employed with the University of Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ridenour.

He is survived by his son, Thomas Ridenour; brother, Dan Ridenour; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Paul; dear friend, Fred Massengill; and several other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at Jacksboro Cemetery with Military Honors to be conducted by the Honor Guard of Campbell County.
