Robert Lee Powers June 11, 1959 – July 18, 2026

Robert, known as Bobby to many, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Raised in East Tennessee, he was a graduate of Halls High School, Class of 1978. He later earned his nursing degree from The University of Tennessee in 1996.

As a devoted nurse, Robert dedicated his career to helping people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. He brought exceptional skill, calm reassurance, and compassion to every person he encountered.

Robert was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Dee Ann (Parks); his son, Thomas; and his daughter, Stephanie. He also leaves behind his eight cherished siblings, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members whose lives were forever enriched by his love. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hula Powers.

He will be remembered for his extraordinary kindness. He possessed remarkable wisdom and a steadfast faith that made him a source of comfort and guidance for so many.

Robert’s legacy is one of service, generosity, faithfulness, and love. The countless lives he touched stand as a lasting testament to the man he was. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A service celebrating Robert’s life will be held on Saturday, July 25th at 3:00 p.m.
