Comcast/Xfinity lines down, not electrical lines near Bus 12

Bus 12 has been stuck in traffic on Tackett Loop since just after 3pm Monday

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF)- An 18-wheeler reportedly knocked down s section of cabling from above the road on Tackett Loop. It was initially believed those lines were electrical. They are not.

Officials with Central Dispatch told WLAF News that an LUB crew determined that the downed lines are cable lines of Comcast/Xfinity.

The students are delayed getting home. However, they are safe, according to Traci Chambers, transportation director for Campbell County Schools. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-09/08/2025-5PM)
