LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- From Chihuahuas to Great Danes, they can handle them all at Southern Paws Grooming and Spa.

The grooming business recently relocated to 200 N. 5th Street in LaFollette due to a “need for more space.”

Southern Paws offers full pet grooming services, from nail trimming, shampooing, grooming and more. They can also groom cats!

The business is co-owned and operated by Savannah Berry and Lindsey Suttles. Savannah does the grooming, and Lindsey does the shampooing and bathing. Together, the two make a great team with their business getting five-star reviews and the reputation of the “best groomer and pet spa in town.”

Suttles and Berry started their business in July of 2022 and said the past two-plus years has been “wonderful.”

“We met working at LaFollette Vet and decided to pursue a new adventure out on our own,” Suttles said. Both have multiple years of experience working with animals.

Berry has been grooming for over 8 years and has been working with animals much longer than that!

She and Suttles took a “leap of faith” and decided to open their own shop.

According to Suttles, the community has provided “overwhelming support” of their business, so much so, that they had to relocate for more space.

“The Shops on Central and the Lobertini’s have been a blessing to us during our startup. However, due to such an amazing community, we’ve outgrown our current space and needed to size up just a little,” Suttles said. 

She and Berry said they wanted to say a huge thank you to all their clients for trusting them with their pets.

“We enjoy every minute of it, and we wouldn’t be here without our clients; we have the best clients and we appreciate them all so much!” Suttles said.
