Glenn Earl Monday, age 89, of Speedwell passed away Thursday October 24, 2024. He was a member and deacon of Forks Grove Baptist Church and served as a deacon for 32 years. He retired from Caterpillar as supervisor/foreman after 29 years of service. After retirement he moved back to Tennessee and raised tobacco on his farm. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. A host of friends and fishing buddies.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Monday, October 28, 2024 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Ronnie Poston and Rev. Dewayne (Kojack) Graves officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Tuesday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Welch Cemetery in Speedwell for 11 AM Interment.
