Homecoming festivities Friday at 6:20pm, live telecast at 6:15pm, kick-off at seven over WLAF

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Homecoming. A region opponent. Good weather predicted. The ingredients are there for a full Dossett Stadium come Friday night when Campbell hosts Lenoir City in both teams fifth football game of the season.
Campbell comes into its second region game 0 & 1 and is 1 & 3 in all games. The Panthers are 2 & 2 entering their first game in Region 3 AAAAA. There’s one common opponent, The Kings Academy. Campbell won 21-13 at home over the Lions a couple of weeks ago while the Lions fell at home to Lenoir City last week 37-14.
“The first home game crowd was phenomenal. The second game was really good I thought, not quite as big a crowd,” said Campbell Head Football Coach Mark Pemberton.
“Hey, that’s up to us. We gotta win ball games to fill the place every week. So, we gotta hold up our end of it,” said Pemberton.
Cougar Luke Lindsay plays quarterback and in the secondary.
Homecoming festivities begin Friday at 6:20pm. Live televised coverage begins at 6:15pm over WLAF.
Will the Cougars be able to focus amid all that surrounds homecoming night? “Some schools go absolutely bonkers over homecoming. I think we’re pretty level headed here and how they approach it. I don’t think it’ll bother our kids at all,” said Pemberton.

It’s Campbell hosting the Lenoir City Panthers on Reynolds Field. It is homecoming, and the festivities begin at 6:20pm.
