Bobby Joe Wright, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on July 25th, 2024. He was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. He was a proud Army Veteran (Tigers Company B, 2nd Battalion, 33rd Armored Regiment stationed in Ayers Kaserne at Kirch-Gons, Germany and retired clerk from the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He loved gardening, family tree research and drawing.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Alma Wright and sister Betty Wright Boshears.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life of 57 years Janice Faye Lester Wright, daughters Anna Maria (Greg) Smith and Miss Mary Smith, Karen Leigh (Jason) Lollar and precious granddaughter Brynna Karason Lollar, brothers John Wright and Betty, George Wright and Ginny, sisters Peggy Wright and Judy Wright. A host of nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services and interment at Indian Creek Cemetery on Monday with Rev. Bryan Burge officiating.
