Norma J. Gerber, age 85 of Caryville

Norma J. Gerber, age 85 of Caryville, departed this life on Friday, May 17, 2024 at her home. She was born July 10, 1938.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James M. Gerber; her father, Raymond Sargent; her stepmother, Rebecca Sargent; her birthmother, Carmen Atkins; her brother, Fred Sargent; and her sister Sharon Caldwell.

Norma is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Ken) May-Green of Michigan, Debbie (Steve) Smith of Caryville, and Ella (Kem) Mills of Michigan; her one son, Tommy (Barb) Goodman of Michigan; her step-son, David (Arianne) Hausker of Michigan.

Norma cherished each of her grandchildren, Malisa, Leslie, Jordan, Angela, Tony, Jonathan, Emiley, Alexis, Alyse, Noah, Taylor, and Emily H with all her heart. She was a devoted granny/nana to all 19 of her great grandchildren. The love and care that she provided will forever live on in the lives she touched.

Visitation will be on Friday May 24, 2024 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will follow the visitation at 6:00 PM with Rev. Bill Rutherford officiating.
