Two big events you’ll want to know about from CHET and CORA

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – CHET’s Chili Cook-Off is set for Friday, November 10, from 6pm until 9pm. The event will be held at The Stables.

The Campbell Outdoor Recreation Association (CORA) hosts its big BBQ event on Saturday, October 21, at Cove Lake State Park, Shelter #5 on Park Road.

CORA’s gathering begins at noon, and meal tickets are $10 at the shelter. Everyone is welcome. Gun draw tickets for a 350 Legend bolt action with scope will be available at Shelter #5 or from a CORA board member. “There will be outdoor gear raffles and fellowship for conservation,” said E.L. Morton with CORA.

“Our CHET chili cookoff will be November 10, 6pm-9pm,” said Olivia Lobertini with the CHET Chili Cook-Off team.
