  1. Everybody knows the virus is out there. We all know it kills people and case numbers go up all the time. Is there any need to rub these facts in our faces all the time? I can’t be the only one who is sick of hearing about it or seeing articles about it everywhere I look. This constant reporting of the virus is like someone constantly reminding a cancer patient that they have a good chance of dying from the disease.

    1. I am sorry you feel this way. Yes, the virus is out here and seems to be going to stick with us for a while. The reminding of the public might be a way to get them to be care and take precautions such as handwashing etc. If you feel uncomfortable reading the stories then avoid them. News has to be reported to keep the public informed and unfortunately there is no easy way to do that and keep everyone happy.

    2. It is important to be informed of the level of virus in the community to best protect ourselves and our loved ones. Ignorance is not a good thing when disease is spreading.

  2. I would like more data with the numbers. For example with the new cases, how many received BOTH vaccines? How many were under 18 or over 65 with and without vaccines.

    1. Thank you for your response, Pat.

That’s way above my pay grade, and I’m not so sure all those, maybe some, even exist. Even if they do, they may not be available to the general public.

    2. We need to know the numbers in the school system to protect our children and grandchildren and be able to protect ourselves at home. The school system needs to keep the families informed of the number of children sent home daily. The people that think this is all a hoax needs to wake up. I know families that have lost loved ones and others that have survived Covid.

  3. I look for the updates daily. I want to be informed about the data. There’s a lot of news that doesn’t interest me and I scroll on by it. We all have choices, whether we wear a mask, get a vaccine or read a news article.
