JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- At Monday’s Campbell County Commission Workshop, County Mayor Jack Lynch said he would like to recognize Campbell County High School Students for their participation in the litter program’s recycling scholarship, which is organized by Litter Patrol Officer Glennis Monday and Keisha Howard with the Mayor’s Office. The scholarship awards funds to welding students that take scrap metal and make art out of it. Mayor Lynch said he would like to recognize five students at CCHS who are dual enrolled at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Jacksboro. The students will have their welding art at the meeting, according to Lynch.
During his mayor’s report at the commission workshop, Mayor Lynch also announced that the next Veteran’s Appreciation Breakfast will be June 7th at the First Baptist Church in Jacksboro, and it will be sponsored by Hope and Stand Church. The Jellico Veteran’s Breakfast will be on June14th in Newcomb at the First Baptist Church. Jellico Veteran’s Breakfast will be sponsored by Builtwell Bank. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-05/16/2025-6AM)
