Project started Thursday at 8am

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A Rogers Group crew began spot sweeping, patching and leveling on Thursday at 8am. This runs from West Central at JR’s Tires and heading east to the Beech Street Bridge.

It’s the biggest broom in town. The sweeping of a portion of Beech Street began at 8am and progressed to South 13th Street by 8:05am.

On Friday at 7am, the project starts at the Beech Street Bridge going west, and the Rogers Group crew will begin laying finished cap.

A lot of prep work has gone into this long awaited project; the paving of Beech Street, the second most traveled street in La Follette.
