Phoebe Snow’s one hit wonder, Poetry Man, was climbing the chart as was Don’t Call Us, We’ll Call You from Jerry Corbetta and Sugarloaf. Linda Ronstadt was one of the hottest acts of the time and had a smash with You’re No Good. The Average White Band had its first hit with Pick Up The Pieces.
