Tennessee Black Lung to host outreach assistance at Williamsburg

No cost services for miners

LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- The Tennessee Black Lung Program will host an outreach event to assist miners in signing up for benefits.

The program is set for Friday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Dayspring Health Legacy Room, 402 Cumberland Ave., at Williamsburg, KY.

“We invite all former miners to attend. Our services are at no cost to the miner. Benefit counselors will be available to help fill out applications and advise claimants,” said Regina White, Lay Representative. White can be reached at 423.562.1705, extension 1058.
