Significant weather event to develop after sunset Saturday

All hazard types of severe weather are on the table

LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- A significant severe weather event is expected for Campbell County and the forecast area Saturday evening into the overnight hours. All hazard types are on the table, including the possibility of a strong tornado or two.

Flooding now looks to be a noteworthy concern given the possibility of multiple rounds of storms. The most likely area for flooding is going to be the Cumberland Plateau and Southern Tennessee Valley. This includes areas mainly west of I-75 in Campbell County.
