Mr. Robert Wilson, age 79, of LaFollette, TN passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, and can see the lights of heaven after being blind for nearly 50 years.  He enjoyed playing the guitar and was a big car guy.  He is preceded in death by his son, Robert “Bobby” Wilson, Daughter, Rochelle Chumley, Parents, Robert S. and Cordie (Easter) Wilson, and Sisters, Elsie Carroll and, Jewell Malicoat. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janice (Welden) Wilson; Children, Jimmy Wilson (Arlene Eubanks) and China Wilson (Patrick Leach); Grandchildren, Haley Wilson, Cooper Wilson, and James Eberharter; Great-Grandchildren, Alexis Carroll, Elijah Eberharter, and Maverick Dilbeck; Great-Great-Grandchild, Hezekiah Carroll; Sister, Glenda Plemons; Caregivers and Nurses, Delana and Olivia.  Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

 The family will receive friends on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Services will begin at 3:00 PM with Rev. Mike Franklin officiating.  Interment to follow at Powell Valley Cemetery.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Robert Wilson.
