Megan Marie Bowling, age 18 of LaFollette, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Megan was big-hearted, strong, and beautiful inside and out. When Megan loved you, she loved you with her all. Megan had a smile that would light up your day, and a laugh that would make you laugh. She would help anybody she could even if she didn’t have much. Her beloved family will remember the best memories of her and cherish them as each day passes by.

Megan was preceded in death by her mother, Misty Hopson; uncle, Travis Hopson; grandfathers, Wayne Hopson and Mike Cooper; and grandmother, Mona Hensley.

She is survived by her father, Dewey Bowling; stepfather, John Meagher; grandmother, Treva Workman; sisters, Courtney, Kayla, and Haylee Bowling, and Chelsey Meagher; brothers, Johnathan Meagher, and Jeddy and Jojo Bowling; many cousins, aunts, niece, nephew, and other friends.

  1. I may not have known her, I am new to the area, but I am terribly sorry for your loss. To lose a child so young is heartbreaking, and just not fair. Please allow yourselves to feel the love of your community at this time.
