Rebecca Ayers, age 69 of LaFollette

Mrs. Rebecca Ayers, age 69 of LaFollette, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025.  She attended Stanfield Church of God.  Rebecca enjoyed flowers, shopping, going to the beach, and loved to cook.  She also enjoyed seeing her Grandson when he came to visit.  She is preceded in death by Father, Curt Brandenburg and Sister, Debbie Campbell.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Wendell Ayers; Son, Kevin Ayers, and wife, Kila Chantal; Grandson, Daniel Wayne Ayers; Step-Grandchildren, Jordan Metcalf, Shalun Daniels, and Mattea King; Step-Great-Grandchild, Greyson King; Mother, Vollena Brandenburg; Sister, Peggy Ayers and husband, Darrell; Brothers, Franklin Brandenburg and wife, Lisa, Larry Brandenburg, and wife, Tracy, DeWayne Brandenburg, and Don Bruce and wife, Beverly.  Special Friends, Tammy Bostic and Brenda Weaver.  Several Nephews, Nieces, dear Cousins, and other relatives and friends.   

 The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Stanfield Church of God with Bishop Delmus Bruce officiating.  Interment to follow Funeral Services at Melvin Cemetery.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Rebecca Ayers.
