Pearl Ward, age 76, of Jacksboro, went home to be with the Lord on June 29, 2025. Pearl was a devoted Christian and a long-time member of Beech Fork Baptist Church for 61 years. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with all of them. She looked forward to going to church every Sunday. She loved her church family as much as her blood family. Her grandkids and great-grandkids were the light of her life. Pearl loved the time she was able to spend with her sisters and brothers on Sundays. She especially enjoyed her dinner outings with her sister Ann. She loved planting flowers and watching them bloom. She also loved sitting on her porch and watching the hummingbirds when the weather was nice. Pearl was a special woman, and she will be greatly missed by those who loved and knew her. She was a giver and caretaker. Even through her sickness, she would find ways to still care for those around her. She felt that was her purpose in life. She is preceded in death by her Husband, J.C. Ward; Son, Jeffrey Lynn Ward; Parents: Arlie (Doc) and Veltina Phillips; Brother: Jesse Phillips; Sister: Joann Phillips; Grandparents: Henry and Flora Tackett and Matthew and Mattie Phillips; Nephews: Michael Berry and Jamie Phillips.
