Patsy Ann Monday, age 84 of Speedwell, Passed away Wednesday, February 12th, 2025. She was a member of Forks Grove Baptist Church.  Preceded in death by Husband: Glenn Earl Monday, Parents: Frank and Ella Mae Brewer Welch, Brother: Jim Welch, Sister: Billie England, Son-in law: Jay Railey, Sister-in law: Regina Welch, Brother-in law: O.D. England. She spent many years traveling and singing for the Lord. She had a feisty sense of humor that everyone enjoyed, and she will be greatly missed by all. Her faith in God leaves us the assurance of where she is and the promise we will see her again.

Survived by:

Daughters: Rebecca Monday Railey, Diana Monday Ford and Richie.

Son: Michael Glenn and April Monday.

Grandchildren: Jayson, Jeremy, Jenny, Ryan, Jackilyn, Cody, Alex, Cheyenne, Mason and Keegan.

16 Great-Grandchildren.

7 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Brother: Benny Welch.

Sisters: Peggy Heck and Judy Bolinger.

A host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Cody Johnson, Tyler Railey, Keegan Kincer, Jeremy Railey, Jayson Railey, Alex Monday. Honorary Pallbearers: Ryan and Jackson Greer

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Monday, February 17th, 2025 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Ronnie Poston and Rev. Dewayne (Kojack) Graves officiating.  Family and friends will meet 10 AM Tuesday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Welch Cemetery in Speedwell for 11 AM Interment.
