A CUV flips over an embankment from Jacksboro Pike onto Old Jacksboro Pike

The patient in this CUV, the only person injured, was transported by Campbell EMS to the Stiner Airfield where she was airlifted to a Knoxville hospital.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Right at 2pm Monday, a vehicle left the four lane and rolled over and down the embankment to Old Jacksboro Pike in front of Lyk-Nu Auto Collision Center.

There were other vehicles involved in the accident, three according to one count from an official. All other vehicles remained on the four lane with the black CUV appearing to be the main player.

A CUV came off Jacksboro PIke and down this embankment taking this flashing sign with it. After rolling over, the vehicle landed upright on Old Jacksboro Pike.

Air bags deployed as the driver, the lone occupant, of the CUV was gently removed by way of the drivers side door by first responders from Campbell EMS and the La Follette Fire Department. La Follette Police also responded.

The black CUV came to a final rest across from Lyk-Nu Auto Collision Center.

The four lane was down to one lane for a while as some traffic took Old Jacksboro Pike.
