U-S Flag had been gone for a decade

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The United States Flag that what was once Freeman Park, now Freeman Corner, has been missing since 2015.

On Wednesday morning, crews with the Lafollette Public Works Department installed a new flag pole and flag at Freeman Corner.

Old Glory is back in place at Freeman Corner next to Common Ground.

Several people took notice of the flag being put up in the center of the park where the rock water structure once stood. One veteran said, “I’m glad to see it going back up. GOOD JOB city of Lafollette.” (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-06/19/2025-6AM)
