Tuesday and Wednesday’s damaging winds on the plateau knocked out power to lots of folks

ONEIDA, TN (WLAF)- A group of La Follette Utilities Board (LUB) employees spent time this week at Plateau Electric since Wednesday.

This LUB crew helped restore power after the windstorm Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning for folks in Scott County.   

“When we were asked to help, Plateau Electric had approximately 5,000 customers without power,” said Regina Kennedy, LUB General Manager.
