Mr. Eddie Joe Bolton, age 64, formerly of LaFollette passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025. Affectionately known as the “Tambourine Man”, he loved to make a joyful noise unto the Lord and never missed an opportunity to visit with his countless friends. Although he was a member of Lick Creek Holiness Church, Eddie Joe enjoyed traveling to fellowship with churches all over the area. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Evelyn Bolton, and step-mother, Alffie Bolton.

He is survived by father, Delmus Bolton, Sr.; brothers, Delbert Bolton (Tammy), Kevin Bolton, Lewis Bolton, and “Little” Delmus Bolton, Jr. (Heather); sister, Debra Ridenour (Stanley); and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, 12:00 P.M. at Lick Creek Holiness Church with Rev. Hansford Bolton officiating.  Private family interment will be held at Davis Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Eddie Joe Bolton.
