Millie Carroll, age 73, of Jacksboro, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025. She was a member of the Round Rock Baptist Church and employed at DeRoyal in LaFollette. Preceded in death by Children: Paris Albert Carroll, Mark Carroll, and Matthew Carroll. Parents: Arvile and Arletta Allen Byrge, Sisters: Paralee Nelson, Priscilla Burton, Bernice Cloud, Louise Matthews, Margaret Phillips, Mary Lou Baugh, Brothers: Elmer Byrge and Gene Byrge.

Survived by:

Sons: Ed Carroll, Tim Carroll, John and wife Amy Carroll, Will and wife Christy Carroll

10 Great-Grandchildren

Several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. David Walker and Rev. Jeff Moser officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 AM on Friday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Carroll Cemetery in Caryville for 11 AM Interment.

  1. Millie was a wonderful, kind and compassionate, quiet lady who loved her family immensely. She was my beach buddy when we would go on vacation with Will and Christy. We always had a great time together.
    I will miss you Millie.
