Margaret Elizabeth Tuck Johnson, age 103 of Hickory Creek, passed away peacefully at her home on January 29, 2025. She was born on January 5, 1922, to the late Ben and Lillie Biggs Tuck.  She was one of the first members of Rock Creek Church of God. She loved spending time with family, traveling, gardening, and canning. She has long been a Tennessee football and basketball fan. You may have run into her shopping on Thursdays, as that was her shopping day for over 70 years. She is also preceded in death by: husband Dedrich “Deck” Johnson, and they had five children together. Several years after his passing, she remarried Nelson Morrow, also deceased. She was also preceded in death by brothers Nathan Tuck, Virgil Tuck, Sam Tuck, and Charlie Tuck, Sisters Roxanne Gilmore, Mary Jane Clark, and Frances Keller. She is also preceded in death by her son Austin Johnson.

She is survived by:

Sons Gary Johnson and wife Joyce of Jacksboro, Larry Johnson, L.C. and wife Susie, Daughter Shirley Johnson Ridenour, and Daughter-in-law Jo Ann Johnson all of LaFollette.

Grandchildren: Pam Walden, Monica Bane, Tiffany Bruce, James McCall, Barry McCall, Janice Mustard, Jennifer Savage, Darrin Johnson, Erica Wilson, and Leann Bolton.

Great Grandchildren: Zack Walden, Brooke Bane Hyslope, Jared Bane, Ainsley Bruce, Brynn Bruce, William Bruce, Diana Thacker, Gatlin McCall, Myra Mustard, Natalie Mustard, Emily Mustard, Amelia Bolton, Caleb Bolton, Adeline Bolton, and Callie Bolton.

Great-Great Grandchildren: Dominic Thacker and Kamlyn Thacker.

Special Nieces and Nephew: Dana Seiber, Judith Clark, Melva Boyd, and Richard Clark.

And a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at Cross-Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, February 2nd, from 1 pm to 3 pm, with funeral services to follow, Rev. Wade Walls and Rev. Audie Murray officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
