LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- This PUBLIC NOTICE is an announcement about a PUBLIC MEETING set for Thu., Feb. 6, 2025, at the LUB offices.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of LaFollette, in conjunction with LaFollette Utilities, will be conducting a PUBLIC MEETING on February 6, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., local time, at the LaFollette Utilities Board Room, 302 North Tennessee Avenue, LaFollette, Tennessee 37766. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information on the City’s application for a $2,875,000 Drinking Water State Revolving
Fund Loan. The State Revolving Loan funds will be used to construct waterline extensions to provide water to several unserved areas in Campbell County. The impact of this project on monthly user rates will be discussed.

It is noted that $1,437,500 of the loan amount will be in the form of principal forgiveness and will not have to be repaid.
