Lorine Milton of Duff was loosed and received her healing on April 18, 2025. She was a founding member of the Woodson Gap Singers. She worshipped at Woodson Gap Church for many years and taught Sunday School. Later in life, she taught at Calvary Christian Academy and worshipped at Grace Age Fellowship Church. Lorine sang and shared the gospel in countless churches in the area. She never met a stranger and supported those in need in any way she could. She also had a weekly broadcast for several years. She loved to cook and once owned and operated Lorine’s café in LaFollette. She loved to spend time with her family and doted on her children, grandchildren, and students.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Ruby Massey, and all her siblings: Louise Mott, Evelyn King, Jim Massey, Colin Massey, Shelby Glover, Nancy Young, Hazel Massey, and Franklin Massey. She is also preceded in death by her best friends Betty Sue Marlow, Carol and Bill Metzler, and Ruth and Earl Lawson.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Raymond Milton; children Randy (Patty) Milton and Barbara Milton; grandchildren Mark Anthony Milton and wife Felicia, and Jessica Milton and partner Tim. Great-grandchildren: Summer and Leah Milton. She also leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Sherrie Faye and Georgianna Massey, and many other friends, family, and students to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Gary Marlow officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 24, 2025, to go in a funeral procession to Oddfellow Cemetery for an 11:00 AM internment.
