Volunteers eligible for a chance to win a winch for UTVs, camping gear, tools and more

DUFF, TN (WLAF)- Tomorrow, Campbell County Litter Control, Keep Tennessee Beautiful and The Ed Carter Unit of the North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area (WMA) are hosting a litter and material clean-up of the WMA Trails of Tackett Creek and the White Oak Area.

Volunteers will meet at the fenced-in area at the big pond on White Oak Straights on Saturday, March 29, at 9am, and will work until 1pm. The address is 4487 White Oak Road.

Pick-up tools, gloves, trash bags, containers and trailers to put litter and material in will be provided.

At 1pm, there will be a drawing for several prizes including a winch for UTVs, camping gear, tools, side-by-side accessories and many, many more.

A bragging rights trophy is the top prize. The trophy goes to the individual who brings in the most bags of litter from the mountain trails.

Some of the sponsors of the event are The Nature Conservancy, Tackett’s Hide-a-way, LLC, Reds General Store, CORA and La Follette Mine Supply.

“Come out and help us clean-up one of the most beautiful and picturesque parts of Campbell County and WMA Trails that we all love and enjoy,” said Glennis Monday, Campbell County Litter Control Officer.
