Still room on the truck to carry your donation to London tornado victims; leaving out at noon today

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Great strides were made on Wednesday and Thursday as lots and lots of you came by and donated to help the folks to our north in tornado devastated London, Kentucky. From 8am until noon today, your friends at Community Trust Bank are accepting donations of items to help victims of Friday’s devastating tornado at London.
A U-Haul truck is parked at the Jacksboro Branch of Community Trust Bank and still has room for more of your donations. It will be there until noon, today, Friday, May 23. Donated items will then be taken to Faith Assembly of God in London this afternoon. This church is being used as a distribution center for those in need.

Some of the much needed items include:
- Water
- Tarps
- Bungee cords
- Rakes
- Shovels
- Buckets
- Contractor garbage bags
- Totes
- Ponchos
- Canned, non-perishable food
- Manual can openers
- Work gloves
- Blankets
- Sleeping bags
- Tents
- Personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes & toothpaste
- Diapers
- Baby wipes
- Baby food
- First aid kits
- Batteries
- Heavy duty extension cords
