JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County High School played host to another college signing on Friday. Landon York is headed to Johnson City to be a Milligan Buffalo.

York has gained much respect of all of his teachers, coaches, and school administrators. Olivia Lobertini, a Campbell High co- athletic director, began the signing ceremony by mentioning Landon’s encouraging and incredibly respectful personality.

CCHS Track and Field coach Corey Carrington mentioned that he “never has to worry about Landon showing up ready to work.” He knows that he will always get 100% out of York, and he’s very easy to work with.

Landon York has quite the impressive track career at CCHS, most notably, holding the 110m hurdles record, with a time of 15.10.

At Milligan, Landon plans on studying exercise science. Then post-graduation, he wishes to become a physical therapist. After his tour of Milligan, York “fell in love with it.”

As mentioned, Landon York has had a very successful four year track tenure at CC. He said that he is really going to miss the fond memories of eating after games, and he will especially miss the people he has crossed paths with.
