Joseph Brewer, age 77

Joseph Brewer, age 77, passed away Thursday May 7th at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a Christian and a true mountain man and very family oriented.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Elsie Henderson Brewer. Sisters: Violet Gulley, Letta Waldroop, Jeanette Brewer, Brother: Robert Brewer.

He is survived by:

Daughters: Vickie Delk and husband Cecil, and Bobbie Hamblin and husband Michael

Sons: Joseph Brewer Jr and Paul Brewer and wife Brooke

Several grandchildren and great grandchildren

Several Nieces and Nephews

The family will receive friends Sunday May 10, 2026 from 5-7 PM at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with the service to follow at 7 PM at Cross-Smith Chapel with Rev. Junior Dople officiating. The family will meet at Cross-Smith funeral Home at 9 AM Monday, May 11, 2026 and proceed to High Cliff Cemetery for a 10 AM interment.
