Jerry Lee Chapman, age 81, of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025. He was a member of Woodlake Baptist Church and retired form Austin Powder Co. after 43 years of service. He is preceded in death by Parents: Emmit and Nannie Pearl Baird Chapman, Granddaughter: Whitney Brooke Chapman, Brothers: Johnny Chapman, Paul Lumpkins, Jerry Lumpkins.

Wife: Hettie Heatherly Chapman

Daughter: Connie (Travis Gene) Johnson

Sons: Danny (Gina) Chapman, Teddy (Pam) Chapman, Stacey (Katina) Chapman, Jerry Steven Chapman, Justin (Jessica) Chapman

Grandchildren: Madison, Cody, Cory, Taylor, Ashley, Jordan, Julie, Heather, Jaci, and Jenna Kate

Great-Grandchildren: Preslee, Sutton, Piper, Roman, Jaxon, Tate, Aniston, Emorie, Jax, Crew, Lydia and Bethany

Brothers: Larry and Ricky Chapman

Sisters: Carolyn Shoupe, Kathy Chapman

Several Nieces and Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5pm-7pm Thursday, August 14th, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow at 7pm in the Cross- Smith Chapel. Rev. George Asbury and Rev. Larry Russell Officiating. Family and Friends will meet at 10am on Friday, August 15th, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for an 11am Interment.
