Mr. Bill Smith

Age 83 of Newcomb, Tennessee passed away Monday, April 06, 2026, at North Knoxville Medical Center.  He was born February 01, 1943, in Block, Tennessee.

     Bill is preceded in death by:

Father: Charles Smith

Mother: Mattie (Cordell) Smith

Brothers: Ronnie, Eddie & Leon Smith

Sisters: Bonnie Smith, Bernice Shelton

     He is survived by:

Wife: Iris (Douglas) Smith

Sons: Brian Smith & wife Beth, Chris Smith & wife Jennifer all of Newcomb

Grandchildren: Daniel Smith & wife Keisha of Gray, KY, Bentley Smith of Newcomb

Sister: Linda Creekmore of Williamsburg

Sister-in-law: Cleda Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio

A host of nieces, nephews, friends & family to mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends: 12 – 1 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, Newcomb Church of God with a memorial services starting at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jellico Rescue Squad P.O. Box 292 Jellico, TN 37762 in memory of Bill Smith.
