Two suspects arrested early on Thursday morning

Methamphetimine recovered in the arrest of two individuals.

CLINTON, TN (WLAF)- A motorcycle reported stolen through the Knox County Sheriff’s Office was recovered at Clinton, and the case involves two suspects, one from Jacksboro.

Tabitha Standridge from Jacksboro is in jail on drug charges.

Early Thursday morning, Anderson County Deputy Dakota Williams located what he thought, and later confirmed, was the stolen motorcycle out of Knox County. The bike was at the Git’N Go Market & Deli on Clinch Avenue (Hwy 25W-Clinton Hwy).

Deputy Williams searched the motorcycle finding more than a hundred grams of methamphetamine in one of the saddle bags prompting the arrest of two people. Placed into custody were Michael Houser of Clinton, the driver of the bike, and his passenger 37-year old Tabitha Standridge from Jacksboro.

Michael Houser of Clinton faces multiple charges.

Houser was charged with theft $1,000-$2,500, manufacture-delivery-sale-possession of a controlled substance and driving while in possession of meth.
