JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Monday at 5pm, the Sanitation committee will meet at the courthouse. The approval of the Scott County solid waste disposal agreement will be discussed.

At 5:30pm, the Budget & Finance committee meeting follows the Sanitation committee. Following those two meetings, the Campbell County Commission will hold its workshop at 6pm.

The Campbell County Board of Education will meet in a Special Called meeting on Tuesday, June 10, at 5:00 pm, in the upper courtroom of the courthouse in Jacksboro, Tennessee. The purpose of the meeting is to review the Director of Schools Evaluation. The regular monthly meeting follows the special called meeting. The Campbell County Board of Education Athletic Committee will meet immediately after the Regular Session meeting on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Tuesday at 5:15pm is when the Legislative Affairs committee will meet to continue discussing goals and objectives. That meeting is followed at 6pm by the Financial Management System meets where there will be a review and approval of renovations of a bathroom, the kitchen and storage areas bid for Emergency Medical Services at Station 1. The FMS committee will discuss a plan to implement procedures for a search for a new finance director. Current Finance Director Jeff Marlow recently announced his plan to retire.

The Recreation committee meets on Wednesday at 6pm.

There’s a meeting scheduled for Thursday. It’s a meeting of the Building & Grounds committee starting at 5:30pm. The committee will hear about an update on the HVAC system. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-06/09/2025-6AM)
