JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The April 2025 Jacksboro has been certified, according to Mallory Rosenfeld, Administrator of Elections.

Shayne Green earned another term as mayor of Jacksboro on Saturday with 157 votes. This marks Green’s second time to serve as mayor.

Green was challenged by Verlin Hatfield and Matthew Housley. The incumbent mayor nipped Housley by 17 votes. Housley finished with 140 votes while Hatfield tallied 95.

Incumbent and unopposed Aldermen Roy Green and Jimmy Snodgrass had complimentary votes of 208 and 210 respectively. (WLAF NEW PUBLISHED-04/18/2025-6AM)
