Jack L. Reed, age 96 of Lake City, Tennessee passed away on August 19, 2025 at the Norris Health and Rehabilitation Center. Jack was born July 18, 1929 in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late John T. Reed and Mossie Landrum Reed. Jack was an Air Force Veteran who served in Korea. Jack was a member of Main Street Baptist Church and had been since 1946. Jack was active in the Masonic Lodge 492  F & AM In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Reed, brother, Finley Reed, and sisters: Hope Reed, Beulah Smith, Lena Johnson, Gertrude Reed Smith, Chloe Foust, and Iley Reed, and Gleason Reed.

Visitation: 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 20, 2025 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating.

A Graveside Service will be held following the funeral service at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City with Military Honors presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
